Why Join Backcountry Horsemen of California?
Backcountry Horsemen of California is a family and youth oriented organization. Even if you don’t ride or aren’t an “active” member, the dues you pay contribute to our cause! You will be helping pay for work projects, educational materials, training, insurance, the quarterly newsletter and you will help support BCHC’s efforts to keep trails open to equestrians, hikers and more!

- Learn valuable backcountry skills and outdoor ethics
- Contribute to the appropriate use of public lands in California
