Why Join Backcountry Horsemen of California?
Backcountry Horsemen of California is a family and youth oriented organization. Even if you don’t ride or aren’t an “active” member, the dues you pay contribute to our cause! You will be helping pay for work projects, educational materials, training, insurance, the quarterly newsletter and you will help support BCHC’s efforts to keep trails open to equestrians, hikers and more!

Membership Form
1. YOU MAY JOIN/RENEW BY MAIL
If you prefer to join/renew by mailing in a paper Membership Application form, you can find the Membership Application form on the Documents & Forms page under the Membership section.
Steps include:
- Print out and complete the MEMBERSHIP FORM and make a copy for your records.
- Mail the completed form and a check made payable to Backcountry Horsemen of California to:

Steps include:
- Review the MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS in the chart below.
- Choose a membership type and time period or a 1-year Special Membership.
- Click on the PURCHASE button to the right of your chosen membership type and time period.
- Complete the MEMBER INFO section.
- Select PROCEED TO REVIEW & CONFIRM to complete the process.
- Pay via Stripe with your credit or debit card.
